Low never disappoints. This is (probably) my favourite record from this era of their career. Some of the harmonies on here will break your heart. Listen to this alone, late at night, when it's just snowed for the first time in the year. sentient meat

Botch is the offspring you would get if Agnostic Front and Meshuggah had consensual sex without contraception. It hits you like a king hit from a mugger and grabs hold of ears like a lesbian mid climax. I am still coming to grips with the fact that I only recently discovered them. nord3276

This was always an inevitable purchase, put off for this long only because I have owned the CD for many years, but now the time has come. For those who do not know, Panopticon is among the very best post-metal and sludge albums of all time, and a fair argument could be made that it is THE best. Very rare is it that I cannot imagine even a single note being arranged differently, and yet ISIS created such a masterwork that this is how it is. Legitimately essential for any metal fan.
